White Composite Fillings

White “Tooth-Colored” Restorative Fillings are used by our dentists. This resin material used matches your tooth and fills the space where decay was removed. These restorations will serve you well for several years. With the proper care, no one will even know that the restoration is present.

Teeth that have restored with resin material can be chewed on immediately; this material is cured and hardened before you leave our office. Avoid chewing excessively hard foods on the restored teeth (hard candy, ice, popcorn kernels, etc.) because extreme force can cause the material to be broken from the tooth – just as it can in a natural tooth.
